Homeschooling

We have made it through the first two weeks of homeschooling! YAY!

Although we have some things to iron out, we are both enjoying it. The program we went through this year is a lot of fun and allows her to learn at her own pace...and at her pace, she might be in high school next year! haha

It sure has kept us busy! I rearranged my work schedule to opening hours and closing hours, which will take some getting used to, but we have the rest of the day for schooling, museums, zoos, parks, etc.

It is working out quite nicely so far.

Yesterday she had her 2nd Grade DIBELS tests. She was supposed to read about 40 nonsense, made up words and she read 111. She was supposed to read real stories at about 50 words per minute and she read 110. I am so proud of her!!!!!
